"Don't waste your fiction tears on me
Just save them for someone in need
It's Way to late
I'm closing the door"
Personal Comment: After i listened to Ashley's debut album Headstrong by accident, i started to love her and became a fan. Her debut album was full of great pop tracks that i loved and played over and over again. I was highly anticipating the release of her sophomore album, Guilty Pleasure, which was delayed in the US (and Mexico too) but it still leaked early and i loved it even more than her debut. Even though it flopped badly, it was my favorite album of the year and i'll be waiting for her third album to be released. It's Alright, It's OK is de lead single from her album Guilty Pleasure. I think this is one of the worst tracks from the album, but even so i loved it and was probably my most played song of 2009.
"Some may say I need to be afraid
Of losing everything
Because of where I
Had my start and where I made my name
Well, everything's the same
In the la-la land machine"
Personal Comment: I wasn't too into this song when Don't Forget was released, and i used to think it was the worst song from her Don't Forget album. This was later announced as the second single in 2008 and i was sad because i felt it would be a waste of a single. However, this song highly grew on me during 2009 and was highly played on my city's radios stations, so it was inevitable to like the song back then. The video makes the song even better, i've got to say La La Land is one of my favorite videos ever, i love her look, the plot and the locations, it's a beautiful video to my eyes. The song is about Demi staying the same while raising to fame, and i really hope she does stay herself when she gets older and get the great success she deserves, because she's awesome and beautiful the way she is.
IAIO is not my favorite song, but still a good song
La La Land
i prefer Here We Go Again, but Demi is one of the artist that really growing on my this moment, so i feel happy
