Yes, that is why it is GOOD for those states, but not good for every state. I've always been in favor of raising states like California and New York. But the smaller states don't always need a price hike that much higher when the price/quality of living is significantly less. I am definitely in favor of a higher minimum wage though. Believe me, lol, I live it while I'm paying rent and paying off loans to get back into college.
