How did this album leak actually? Are we sure these are the final version of the tracks?
New songs have that acoustic feeling, all of them. Stick sounds lighter than the live version she's been performing even recently, why would there be a difference between these versions when all the other tracks she's performing sound the same as their studio version. As far as I remember when I saw her live back in July, during the beginning of the Fall Over's acoustic performance she said all of her songs start with just her and the piano, that's how she starts to create the idea, lyrics etc. I suppose then she produces them in the studio.
Even though it's so far-fetched, I'd really like to think once the album comes out I'll find out at least some of these songs in a different arrangement. As of now, it feels like the exact half of the album that's been released is heavy-well produced, when the contrast of the other half seems too striking.

I think it's the final version of the album without much surprise, though I might be wrong.
Alibi and **** Em Only We Know do not have any acoustic feeling about them, they were made to be worked with produced instrumentals. The rest... well, they are ballads but it's not like they completely overshadow the rest of the album.
Live versions are sometimes slightly different and have instruments implemented in them that make them more striking when performing... they are slightly altered so you might get the impression they sound harder ( "Stick" for instance or even TIWIFL with the electric guitar making the production in the small drop and towards the end - it was used when I saw her live, at least ).

Personally, I actually like the contrast between the heavy, grittier songs and the mellow, sad ones. They represent what she feels ( love, anger, despair, being in light & darkness, etc ) and it all feels very solid. I reckon she released most of the "killer" tracks to get her name out there with a downtempo released here and there to show another face of her music, so we're mostly left with soft, understated cuts that wouldn't really make dazzling singles - apart from Stick, Under The Table and **** Em Only We Know which somewhat have potential - I think.

It's everything and beyond. I'm blown away the moment she belts the lyrics towards the end. I think it's close to being my favorite song from her.
