That is really strange of you to say that about Brooke with you being an Alicia Keys fan. I see Brooke like a caucasian Alicia Keys. Brooke has a beautiful raspy voice.

I semi-agree, especially after that insulting "Here comes the sun" performance. Yet she's pulled off a few other good to great performances which should get her into the final 5. And Ramiele was obviously not good.
And even though she is a great musician, Dolly Parton week was X___X for me....

alicia's voice is hard and raspy sometimes, but she never sounds like she is talking. i didn't even notice that brooke chick did that until i watched her performance on country week. she sounded awful.
Her performance of "Let It Be" was one of the best of the top 12. You should really check it out. She's had some really bad ones too but when she picks the right song she can hit it out the park.
OMG, you guys have to download David Archuleta and Michael John's studio recording for this week. They are amazing. I love both of their voices so much. I hope they are the final two!
