I don't know if the winter will affect the activities I've mentioned above though..

Only three Middle Eastern countries are damaged at the moment: Syria, Iraq & Yemen. The former two being part of the levant region so I'd disregard them.

And we all know Saudi Arabia is the true gem of the Middle East

Anyways, if you do decide to come..

Saudi Arabia: Mecca, Jeddah (the best city and the most liberal. A lot of people assume Riyadh hold that title because it's the capital but it's people have one of the dumbest mentalities

), Medina, Mada'ain Saleh.

UAE: Dubai & Abu Dhabi.

Oman: Muscat & Salalah.

Yemen's a beauty but it's going through a civil war at the moment

You should skip Kuwait, Qatar & Bahrain they offer nothing but shopping malls.

If I had to rank the cities in the Middle East by beauty (disregarding Yemen):

1- Mecca
2- Dubai
3- Muscat

I reupdated my trip for next year. I might change some Italian things based on KillingYourCareer and my Italian teacher's advice but I'm love with this as it stands now

Temporal sis, Brussels is kinda meh other than the Grand Place. Even that statue of the peeing angel (Manneken pis) is aa disappointment

I suggest Bruges it's way prettier and you can walk around it in a matter of hours

Or Lille, a French city 30 mins from brussels by train.

Munich: Marienplatz and all the surrounding sights are a MUST. Olympia Park is also a must and then maybe Deutsches Museum if you are interested in science and technology

Berlin: Brandenburger Tor, Berlin wall, Reichstag, Alexanderplatz etc. there are too many things, tons of museums too but i liked the Pergamon museum the most!

btw did a 2 weeks trip to italy and it was AMAZING

I'm planning to tour Bulgaria and Macedonia (Sofia-Rila-Skopje-Ohrid) with a friend next year in April. Never ever been to a Balkan country that isn't Greece

I'm about to finish my British expedition and I'll start planning my Middle Eastern trip for November/Winter Break for Janurary

I have my eyes out on Liechtenstein and Estonia for winter if anyone has anything to say about these two

I didn't really visit Ghent, though my train stopped there once. It looked like Bruges, the whole Flemish region has similar architecture

Get some cheese fries, beer and gauffres while you're there! Your trip sounds perfect btw! Does Egypt have no visa requirements?

@Deuces I have a black friend who visited Copenhagen (not sure if she went to Norway and Sweden though) and she fell in love with it. Actually she told me how people (guys) told her they liked her and how they told her she was beautiful, which never happened to her while she lived in South Carolina.

Interesting. I definitely want to visit these places, but I don't respond well to intolerant people so I just want to be careful. I'm glad she liked it. I'm sure my demeanor as well as being American will definitely change perceptions of me. But I can't wait to travel across Europe next year!

I think I'm gonna stay in an Airbnb over a hostel tbh

The hostels are cheaper but idk if I'll be able to deal with not having my own private space. Plus if I don't like the people I'm in the room with I won't be able to escape.

But I'm not sure how I'll meet other people if I stay in an Airbnb

It has been one year since my Prague trip, and ever since then I just want to become Czech. What a gorgeous city. The mystery of whatever that random Czech woman asked me in Czech will stay with me forever though
