"She Came to Give It to You" was a desperate attempt to mimic "Blurred Lines"'s success and people saw right through it. Not even a VMA performance could save that doomed song. Nicki's verse on it was good, though.
Blurred Lines has some dubious lines but nothing bad/overt enough to merit the across-the-board trashing it got. The ubiquity was certainly tiring, but that's not really the song's fault.
