Some insiders said it was very different from the demo. I'm willing to trust them since they spilled fresh tea before.

The song will do well if people like it, no matter when it's released.

As long as there is good promo and the song is different from the demo it has a good chance of not flopping.
I'm so excited! We're getting the song, video, and a live performance near the middle of Septemer.

Why are you so obsessed with her?

It does matter. People might've said that before "Moves Like Jagger" actually came out, but when it premiered (not leaked a month before and allowed to get out, then die) and went to iTunes it smashed. Never started slow.
And what of that makes me obsessed? The demo grew on me, but I'm realizing that was like three weeks ago and I've already not cared about it that much. What I said is highly plausible, you'll just HAVE to accept the possibilities and not attack people for seeing reality over delusion.

Actually, Moves Like Jagger premiered on radio a few weeks prior it was performed on The Voice/released on iTunes. In the end, it really doesn't matter if the internet hype is there or not, because it's the GP who determinates if a song shoots up on iTunes or not after all. Things could've been handled completely different from how they were handled by RCA eventually, which means no reaction at all, but it is a fact that the song is going to be premiered on The Voice in its first couple of episodes with a performance of the song and is going to iTunes afterwards. Your Body is a surefire hit, so that's actually much more important than release issues.

According to the reactions in your own thread last year ( http://atrl.net/forums/showthread.php?t=131049) no one had heard the song. I remember freaking out hearing it the first time the next day, but maybe a radio rip passed me?
That's beyond the point, though, it's not a leaked demo that's been unhandled LOL.
But we'll see, I just hope it's not another bad experience for her because it could've been easily fixed instead of just waiting and acting like nothing happened.

No, it came out and nothing happened. Haters started to say it was flopping because of her.
They changed their minds the minute it started to smash.
It did start slow. If you want another example, On The Floor.
Hmm, maybe the fact that you only get into Xtina's threads to say negative things?
Where exactly am I being delusional? Please, just...

Hype effects the initial itunes peak. After that depends on how much radio plays it mostly.

!!!!
radio was really slow to play it it didn't start getting big updates until it hit #1 on itunes for the 2nd time... It hit #1 on itunes after the performance on the voice but fell of a week later. I think it was enough to debut top 10 on the hot 100.
