women's tennis has been a mess for quite a while now. with the exception of Serena and to a lesser extenet, Sharapova, no one plays consistently like a top 5/10 player. it's a revolving door. i low-key enjoy the mess though, it's just frustrating to be a fan of someone who you know could fall at any hurdle.

I was thinking about this last night, it's gonna be the pits when these two retire.

As a Pova fan I have been able to expect a relative degree of success for my fave (obviously less than Rena but still still a large degree of sustained success).

Who the **** is gonna take the up the slack when these two (plus Venus) retire?
