The actual creative direction itself has to be good as well though.
Rihanna's video and Britneys both have some tale of a toxic love story, which isn't a new idea obviously, but they kept interest and it was fun to watch. Gaga doesn't need some over the top concept to make a video good (something like You and I.)
I hope she's realized that.
