I wrote a song the other day called Malady. It kinda makes no sense without music but hihi! It's about struggling with mental illness, such as depression. The song personifies the illness and talks about how it treats the person. I SAT-worded it up because I wanted to present someone who is trying to take a very rational approach to dealing with it rather than my normal wild, raw emotion. I wanted to portray a strong, distinctive character with the diction.
Malady
Malady
I admire your fealty
You're hurting me
But I don't want to be bereaved of you
Malady, your words just like ice
Guileless eyes
You tell me when I'm not right
Gelid eyes
You know when not to be nice
Malady, today just be nice
You say your succor isn't clement but good
Make me miss my chances, saying I shouldn't
You're hard to ignore
Easier just to stay anodyne and take every word you say
Malady, malady
Malady, malady
It's okay. I'm not in love with it.

I have a feeling no one is gonna respond to this because it's a pain in the ass to look up some of the words if you are like me and have a bad vocabulary. So let me up my chances of ~*~being paid attention to~*~ and add some definitions
malady – sickness
fealty – loyalty (like fidelity)
bereaved – deprived of, separated from
guileless – innocent, without malicious intent
gelid – icy
succor (british spelling: succour) – help
clement – forgiving, merciful
anodyne – nonthreatening, inoffensive. i love this word it's one of my favorite words.
