technicality and what not I agree 100% but there is something endearing to a girl group who is not manufactured and well most US and UK girl groups haven't been manufactured. most k-pop girl groups are.
also vocally I'd argue that US and UK girl groups are better.

don't forget 5h, little mix, and 1D all comprise of x factor rejects that didn't make it as solo acts and were put together for the show.
