It's not something that just comes with being 18. He could have decided to be above the influence, and he didn't. He's kind of pathetic in that way, to give in to peer pressure like that considering the influence he is capable of asserting as a person in his position.

Why does it matter? If he loses fame or money because parents of his fans won't purchase what he's selling, then it's his fault. If weed is actually proven to be harmful, then it's his damn problem.
