Someone who put out an amazing album this year which got recognized. "Blue Moon" is as well one of the best songs of the year.

There's always an indie underdog in the Grammy Nominations. I'm just kinda sad it wasn't St. Vincent or Arcade Fire this year. But congrats to Beyoncé and Beck for their noms !

Grammy is so stupid putting those random artists in the attempt to look like they are giving preference for real quality, just because they're unknown.

If it has to be a underground, should be at least FKA. She have been really praised for her album.

Just realized that "Frozen" only got a nod in "Best Compilation Soundtrack." So many thought it was a front-runner for Album of the Year. "Let It Go" snubbed as well.

You can't say he didn't get acclaim, universal acclaim from 46 critics

Beck probably got all the votes of the more conservative ones in the committee (for Rock, Country, Folk oriented music), hence why he's nominated. R&B votes went for Beyoncé.

Beck is not random. He has a ton of acclaim, was on Grammy radar and this is his third AOTY nomination. Pop fans can be so ignorant, delusional and more pretentious than fans of other genres.

What intrigues me is that they put some super maisntream album then suddenly puts not well known artist/non-mainstream. I mean.. There's a LOT of not well known artists' albums that are way better than these mainstream, then why doens't they include those too?
