He would get flack but it wouldn't be over him showing some skin.
No straight male artist would ever seriously pose in a thong on their album cover though (or even a regular photo for that matter).
A more direct comparison would be if someone like Drake or Lil Wayne posed on an album cover, full frontal in nothing but their boxers/briefs. And tbh, I don't think they would get that much flack over it.
But again, Nicki didn't make that female vs. male comparison so it's a moot point for this thread (maybe she should have, probably would have helped sell her argument a bit better
)
