I am not counting Katy out, I believe she could win a Grammy in the future. I just think she needs better material and needs to show growth or she will never be taken seriously. Some of y'all are counting Gaga out too soon, it's too early to tell. If you look back in music, the most important figures had career low-points but the GP doesn't care about that and appreciates their career as a whole. I think that is what Gaga will do. Katy still has a lot of ground to cover before reaching Gaga's level, despite her currently being more successful.

A lot of them are the same people that said Gaga would completely destroy Katy last August, so they have that track record going for them.

Tbh I don't think it's a bad thing that Katy hasn't reached Gaga's height of success, it's better that she's taking quite the middle of the road. She's less subject to scrutiny and her mishaps are more forgivable (see talk about AMA's "racism" or Grammy's "satanic" performances completely dying like it was nothing)
