K well I deff think it's going to be the next two game announcements with a new eeveelution.

The next pokémon movie has eevee and it's evolutions in it, and pokébeach.com also feels the same that this new evolution will play some role in the movie, too.

In gen 1 Togepi, Ho-Oh, Snubbull, Marill, and Donphan were revealed (they were all gen 2 pokemon)
In gen 2 Keckleon and Blaziken were revealed (they were gen 3 pokemon)
In gen 3 Lucario, Munchlax, Electivire, Chatot, Buizel, Bonsly, Mime Jr, Weavile and Manaphy (they were all gen 4 pokemon)
In gen 4 Zoroark and Zorua were revealed (they were both gen 5 pokemon)
In gen 5 a new eeveelution will be revealed and it will be a part of gen 6.

I think they'll also announce the names of the games, and they'll be the main games for the 3DS.
As much as I'd love a remake for R/S/E, I highly doubt it...for now.

Also, these are are amount of days each generation lasted. Gen 5 is pretty short compared to the rest, but I really do think that after the next movie they'll "rush release" the sixth generation and put a close to the fifth.

Gen 1 = 774 days long (US), 1363 days long (JAP)

Gen 2 = 885 days long (US), 1096 days long (JAP)

Gen 3 = 1495 days long (US), 1407 days long (JAP)

Gen 4 = 1412 days long (US), 1451 days long (JAP)

Gen 5 = 674 days long (US), 841 days long (JAP)..... SO FAR.


I say bring on the 6th generation!


Also, as for main games for Gen 6, my bet is Pokemon Grey and Pokemon Brown. idk.

All i know is I'm gonna continue my BW2 game, and wait (in excitement) for the announcement on the 8th (2 days!!!!) whilst hoping that it signifies an upcoming 6th generation.

LASTLY, I highly doubt it'll be some stupid announcement on some tcg tournament they do every year and some tcg game, I mean they're pushing this as MAJOR news so I'm 99% positive it's a new pokemon / game.

Battles COULD look like that, but the exploration part won't because the screen is not big enough to handle big models, they would look too small.

FYI, I used to have GB Advance, SP, DS lite when I was a kid. Now I'd rather carry a phone and have everything in it.
