1. Because Carly is regal, knowledgeable, and worldly. She knows how to work a room, and schmooze with world leaders. You just seemed to bypass the fact that I said Carly was on the CIA external advisory board...she knows her stuff on foreign policy.

As far as the presidency goes, I'm realistic...I know Carly snatching the nomination is still a long shot. But if those establishment candidates keep imploding "like Bush is right now", the GOP could turn to Carly because she can pretend to be the outsider, whilst satisfying the establishment with her moderate/conservative views.

Obama doing stuff like this i don't think is good for the Democrats. It fuels the over-reaching narrative and gives Republicans an excuse to do stuff like this if they take office. If it can't get through Congress, then maybe stricter regulations aren't that popular with the American people.

BIG risk since it's only a year to go until the election. He's only one person, not the Party, but people won't see it that way and will react as if all the Democrats had just voted yes on a bill. Colorado and a few other ones that could lean either way aren't going to like this.
