I get that all seasons need some messy players but those two were so repugnantly awful that the thought that anyone would want to see them back is just bewildering.
K so I finally got around to figuring out the login to my CBS account and I'm taking a long look at the men's ballot and I'm stuck at nine. The site won't let me vote until I've picked at least ten, but Brad, Keith, Jeremy, Troyzan, and Woo are trash, and I don't really remember Shane, Jeff, or Jim. So I'm kind of at a loss as to whom I should pick for the last spot.
As for the women, I only remember like half and the videos on the site aren't loading for me, so I can't really refresh myself as to who some of these people are unless I take the initiative to, like, check YouTube or something, which is unlikely.
I feel like most of these women are unfamiliar to me because they were chosen for their eye candy potential rather than their gameplay. Sad.

I think Kelley and Monica will make it tbh. The person that I can see possibly not making it is T-Bird. I really want Stephanie Valencia to make it though. She seems smart and very entertaining, probably moreso than Monica and Kelley

God no! I hope Stephanie doesn't make it through. We don't need ANOTHER firecracker/explosive personality. We already have Kass, Abi-Maria, and Shirin. Kelley/Monica offer a bit more calmness than someone like a Stephanie.

Stephanie has the potential to be a better player than those three though. She has good game instincts and her only mistake on RI was not noticing that people were gonna be over Russel. Even then, it's not like aligning with Russel is a bad game move seeing as had she gotten to the end with him, no one would have voted for him to win.

She might or might not have the potential, I can't say. As for her instincts, she did not seem to have a good head on her shoulders. Who, on their right mind, would pair up with Russell AFTER seeing the way his game unfolded in Samoa & HvV? Of course she would have won had she been in the final three with him but GETTING there was the biggest hurdle for those three. Did she really believe people were gonna allow him to get to the end like people did in his first two seasons? By this point, Russell's game was known so it's not a surprise he got the boot and she left after him.
For all I know, she could get on there and do really well but she does not deserve a spot over Kass, Abi-Maria, and/or Shirin.

Yeah, but Stephanie deserves a greater second chance than those 3, and Shirin isn't even a firecracker (she's my favorite though). I honestly want more pre-merge people because I feel like they didn't have a chance to shine at all. Plus, that season was marred with the presence of Russell and Boston Rob. I would prefer not to have Abi-Maria because I don't think she was good at the game the first time.
Sabrina is dumb not to do any podcasts interviews, she deserves not to be on there. I haven't seen her campaigning at all.
2 of her family members have died within four days of each other right after voting opened. I don't think her heart is really in it to go and campaign to get on a reality show after those losses.

I'll probably not vote for her then. If she ever comes back, I want her to be in it at 110%, and with this tragic loss, I feel like she would need more time to grieve. I would love for her to come back later though because she was one of my faves in One World

Pretty much. Glad someone else is exhibiting a modicum of taste in here. Kass isn't quite as much of a truly disgusting human as Abi, but she's not someone we need messing with another season.
Sweetie. I like watching Survivor. I don't particularly enjoy watching Real Housewives type reality shows. So why on Earth would I vote for Abi when she is the only contestant in history to be so universally reviled by her castmates as to cause the editors to turn 10 minutes of the show into a literal montage of every single other person in the game describing what a C U Next Tuesday she was via confessionals?
Yes, it was entertaining the first time, and Malcolm's dementor line was classic, but that's NOT the kind of fluckery I'm going to knowingly invite onto my TV again.
Kass is more of an on-the-fence kind of thing. Her flipping was horrible in Cagayan and screwed all the good people in favor of the awfuls, but it could just as easily go the other way in the future.
And stop sleeping on Jim Rice. He was one of only 2 or 3 people on what was the worst season ever to actually be interesting. So many people from that season deserve another chance. Jim, Papa Bear, Christine, the black girl who was first out... robbed of camera time in the Coach/Brandon vs Ozzy crapfest. If he comes back and actually gets screentime and turns out to be awful, then fine, then no more seasons for him, but he has NOT worn out his welcome yet by any means.
Except Jim wasn't interesting on SoPa so the basis of your argument is flawed.

If your argument is that NOT A SINGLE THING was interesting on that season, then alright, I accept that as a valid viewpoint.
Otherwise, what was? Whitney and Keith's Redneck Adultery Show? Dawn's Constant Crying? Cochran's Shocking Flip? Coach and Brandon's Prayerfest? The Jeff-sponsored Ozzy Hero Worship? Brandon's misogynistic ranting about Mikayla? That one westerny cowboyish man's unintelligible mouth-sounds? What?
The interesting bar was set VERY low on that season. Jim definitely made the "interesting" cut.
I see a lot of you on the Monica boat. I, too, have been voting for her, because I believe she deserves another chance. Why? Because she was on a season with a camera-hog and therefore got no screentime. I DO NOT remember her. I was not given the CHANCE to remember her because of Russell. My vote for her is a courtesy vote because no one deserved to be screwed over by editing like that. The same automatically goes for everyone from SoPa who is not Coach, Ozzy, Brandon, Cochran, Dawn, Sophie, or Albert. Automatically. Everyone but those 6 got buttfracked and should be getting votes by default. I would remember if Jim had been someone I found horrifically annoying. He was not. I will not go back and rewatch that season to find reasons to convince people to support him because that season was an unwatchable abortion, but the fact that I can remember no reasons to hate him means he doesn't deserve hate. I challenge any who disagree and can stomach that season to go back and find me reasons I should not vote for him if they feel so strongly. If you can actually find instances of him being a terrible douche and present them to me, I will change one of my votes from Jim to a male of your choosing for the remainder of the voting period.
