Britney was going through a lot during the Blackout era, so she really had no motivation to promote and put out a lot of singles.... if Blackout were released now, she probably would have released 4-5 singles, and Toy Soldier would have probably been one. But it's not Jive's fault.... they didn't want to put additional pressure on her.

Well its Jive's fault for releasing the album so soon anyways, they should have waited till she was ready.

i think Blackout would have been bigger if Piece of me was the first single....the song is so hot and huge in Europe plus the Blackout title kinda reassures everyone that Britney is indeed in a Blackout mode, so thats kind of Jive fault anyways....
