I saw on YouTube on a video about the low-flying plane in NYC that the government was trying to scare people from their buildings and have them run out onto the streets so that swine flu could be spread better.

Damn... I wish I had an audio of the doctor from XM's 20 on 20 this morning. She basically said that the media is blowing this way out of proportion. Just like I stated earlier is exactly what she stated... it's almost 100% exactly like the regular flu, except they don't have any medicine or vaccine to kill it. She said the elderly and young children are threatened the most, while middle-aged people shouldn't really fear it that much, and she also stated that you cannot catch the flu from swine products, like pork and bacon, etc. She also stated that all deaths have came from Mexico only, so they're expecting that it's not much of a threat for people in successful countries. (Sorry Mexicans, but Mexico isn't exactly one of the richest countries in the world.)
So....

I haven't seen anyone say this is fake... I've heard conspiracies about it, but no one around me, at least that I've noticed, have said it's fake.

OMG!! there are two identified cases of this flu in my country! :S :S :S
and its not enough to kill pigs.. because it goes like an average flu and if the virus stays for more than 4 days in your body you'll get phneumonia and probably die
o.O
:S

Media is overreacting this, if u feel sick go to the doctor, dont wait til you're almost in coma to check what's wrong with ya.
To the girl that said
"She also stated that all deaths have came from Mexico only, so they're expecting that it's not much of a threat for people in successful countries. (Sorry Mexicans, but Mexico isn't exactly one of the richest countries in the world.)"
What the hell are you talking about?
Im not Mexican, but that comment is just so wrong.

This is getting out of control, with the media is exaggerating this news, but I know this is serious.

Yeah I dont understand all the hype either. It doesnt even seem like we should be concerned since the treatments have been working. We should be more worried about the Mexicans because they are the ones that are dying.

First death in US (Texas)
None suspected in Illinois yet, thankfully. Hawaii would be so good right now, you are isolated.
