Racism doesn't need intent to be racist. Something can be racist regardless of someone else's good intentions. If I were to scroll through pictures of the D&G Spring 2013 show, how many black models would I expect to see? Nary a one, yet I'm supposed to not take office to the depiction of "Moorish" iconography that's eerily reminiscent of blackface/Sambo imagery?
