The fact that she said it will be on a "smaller scale" is obviously because of the TWO huge flops she had... after 7 years she came back and flopped, so she should - and she knows - stay with the feet on the ground.
If she was giving up on music why she is flying to Sweden for record? she could've stayed at home with Luca or even go vacation to Hawaii or Canada
Stay strong and positive and let her breathe

There is a very big difference between being negative and being realistic and it looks like a lot of people can't see it here. The same thing happened a few months ago when CTS and AAY were released with the "staying positive" thing and we all saw the result.
I'm not a negative person at all and I hate negativity but sometimes you have to be realistic and say the truth in order to revaluate things and go forward.
And I wasn't talking about music quality at all in my comment. I've always loved Hilary's music, I really trust her as an artist and I think she's very talented. AAY was a great song and it really deserves to be a hit BUT unfortunately it didn't even have a decent release and promo.
The problem here is that Hilary is signed to a label which is in charge of producing and distributing her music. This label and the majority of us including Hilary (that stated that she's capable of selling another 15M records during the beginning of the era) were expecting her new music to have some commercial success. And this is the only reason why RCA signed with her and spent a good amount of money on her singles and promo but we all saw were the money was spent (planes, a nice and well produced music video for the buzz single and an amateur video for the lead one .... ).
RCA was encouraged by Miley's (who is Disney star just like HD) success and was expecting to get some profits from Hilary and maybe even something similar to what they got from Miley. But the bad news came with CTS' low numbers and things even got worse with AAY. And the one to blame here is Hilary and her Management not RCA because they behave like that with all their artists they just give money and take major decisions without getting too much involved in the promo and the artist image. If I was Hilary I would be thrilled because she's signed to a big record label and she's releasing music after seven years and she saw how it was difficult for Miley (sorry for always talking about her but I think she's the perfect example) to get some decent commercial success. But it doesn't seem to me that she cared that much, she seemed a little bit worried in the beginning and that's it. Maybe she was waiting for RCA to do all the job for her, maybe she thought that it was RCA who did all the promo and management for Bangerz.....
To go back to my previews comment, "we're not sure about the album" was related to RCA not to Hilary or to the music direction. I mean labels are not doing charity it's all about profits and RCA wasted so much money on Hilary and they didn't get anything back so at a certain point they will stop spending money on her and this is what I was talking about !
Anyway I hope that a miracle happens and her team wake up and start working as professional people. The only thing that can save this era (and Hilary's music career) is a HIT so they better work their ass for the next single.
