what are you talking about her breakfast club interviews, Bheind The Music Special, leaks from her supposed album throughout the years, features in female rap music documentaries, and new songs got coverage. The problem with the new music was it was
lackluster, if she came back with better music more people would have been talking. Also on top of that Missy Elliot didn't really promote those songs substantially so of course people weren't gonna be talking about it for so long. And you can't compare nicki now I mean she is her prime let's see if 17 years later people are still talking about her.

Yeah it is so crazy that with all the hype of her albums, global hits, media coverage etc... she has yet to outsell Missy's highest selling album, which didn't even sell that much to begin with
