AWESOME SET. Three out of the four songs are on my Top 100 too. "Blood For Poppies", "Sleeping Ute" (I thought I was the only one who liked that song a lot here!) and "Lazuli" (I feel goosebumps everytime the guitar sound appears.)

Gotye featuring Kimbra "Somebody That I Used To Know" Probably my favorite Hot 100 #1 ever, harmonic, dynamic, well produced, easy to relate to… wow that’s what I call a pop song! Oh, the way the lyrics describe my life helped a lot too.

Passion Pit "Take a Walk" Angelakos is really a great lyricist and Take a Walk is one of the best proofs of it, but the lyrics aren't even the highlight of this song, the bridge is one of the best things I heard in years, the chorus is catchy as f**k and overall the whole song provides an exciting listen.

DIIV "How Long Have You Known" Dreamy and youthful, the cleanest song on DIIV’s debut album is also repetitive in the best way, one of the highlights of the album.

M83 "Midnight City" What the best song of 2011 is doing in a Best of 2012 thread? Well, to be honest I only discovered Midnight City this year and I have to say it is better than anything released in 2012, great composition sung in a wonderful way buried by the flawless electronic rhythm, here it is, outside the top spot only because its date release. Bow down to the song of the decade.
