the last official public report came in 2009 which confirmed a 4.7 Billion dollar loss

Sony hasn't had a profitable quarter since 2008 and in 2011 they lost 6.4 Billion, the biggest loss in electronics history

2.8 Billion of that loss came from the gaming division

who would have thought that the gaming division would have killed the entire company?
