I don't know how many of the lyrics she wrote, which according to you are so inspirational, are hers, let alone being truly from her heart if hers.
The whole list is a complete mess, but I'm assuming female POP singer/songwriters according to you are the mainstream artists. If I had to choose a female singer/songwriter that is currently mainstream I would go with P!nk
Amy Lee is my personal favourite, Dolores O'Riordan, Alanis Morissette, Jewel, Sheryl Crow, Nina Persson, Andrea Corr as well aa Hayley Williams and Lacey Mosley are what I would like to see in a poll like this.
I would also like to see how much Lady GaGa can accomplish in the lyrics department. I mean, I certainly know she has talent, but many lyrics she delivered in the Fame were to get exposure, as stupidity sells nowadays. If not Tik Tok wouldn't be song of 2010 according to Billboard.

Don't doubt. Mariah wrote most of her most popular early stuff. She's a legit songwriter. She's won many BMI songwriter's awards. She's never been accused of plagiarism. Most of her songs are drawn from personal experience that I can relate to so I know she wrote them.
