that's kinda too soon though. she's at 4.3 there and sells like 15k a week. 16 platinium is 4.8 .
Unless they have something planned for her ( ) I see no reason for it to be 16 platinium yet.

For me personally the most impressive would be that 21 has spent longer at No 1 in US and UK than any artist album in history. A feat which is astounding when you look at the other ubiquitous legendary albums/artists which previously spent the longest at No 1.

They're both great versions, I think the Cure's is a bit quirkier and therefore maybe slightly more memorable. However Adele did a great job in slowing it down and bringing her emotions to the song to make it fit in with the rest of the album.

Hmm I hadn't heard of that (I assume you mean the vinyl LP?) but I know she is into bluegrass music and would like to do an album of that style at some point.

Yep. Cure's is still the best. Like the love song from a weird little boy from the minorities who fell in love for the first time. But Adele made it her own. And it's a pleasant cover to hear, a bit worried tho when I looked at the tracklist for the first time.

And yes. I talked about the vinyl LP one. Read about it from a blog. And I once read that she loves Bluegrass, Alison Krauss especially. Covers of Bluegrass (and some of Queen Alison's songs) would be quite a treat for me.
