Well she had sooo many good songs and now it's been going down hill since TGIF and the only reason I can think of is she's milking this album so much.

Every album has its GREAT SONGS that become singles and then it's not-so-great songs that should be left alone... (with the exception of born to die)

And she wasn't messing around when she chose the tracklist for Teenage Dream. Every song on it is single material (with the possible exception of WAILF) She could've chosen any song from TD as a single and still smashed. Please sit.

I love that the era has been dragged out for so long. A lot of fans get disappointed waiting in between albums, but with all the singles, Katy has been delivering something fresh every time and she's keeping herself relevant. That way, people won't feel like she's been gone for that long when she releases her next album.

That makes sense... so she should be finishing her album right about now and releasing it next month. But that's not the case... this is her "final single" and her album isn't due to released until 2013....

I know that.. but if she had stopped at "The One That Got Away" last year, people would of been even more impatient for new music. So now, she's keeping people happy with the re-release. "Part of Me" and "Wide Awake" are extending the era. The gap between the "Teenage Dream" era and her next album won't be as long.
