My first Pokemon game was Sapphire. My Swampert even went level 100. And I remember killing Kyogre in my first encounter with it cause I didn't know about the Master Ball in Team Aqua's base before.

I used my masterball on Rayquaza and I regret it . It was just I was so frustrated of trying to even get to the sky pillar,
and making him learn Ice Beam took care of his weakness to grass
