Finally I've got home and watched the BBMA performance.
I don't know what to say. She looked stunning and the whole performance was so damn good!

Yep, it's kinda wierd. It's not even in top100 on iTunes!

I mean I know it's not released yet but I thought I would enter the iTunes chart somehow thanks to the BBMA performance...

Well it had a lot of climbing to do.. it wasn't even in the top 400 and it's around 237 now..so it did a great deal of climbing. But with no radio play yet (can't wait to see where it gets played today

) it won't climb too much further. The other performances didn't get too huge of boosts.. Carrie went from #115 to #55 or something last time I checked.. Katy got the biggest boost from being not in the top 400 up to #85 right now. But after her, Kelly is the highest from the songs not in the top 400 before the show. Hopefully after DWTS she shoots into the top 100.

Just wait til after DWTS. It'll get a lot more viewers than the BBMAs. Dark Side will definitely be in the top 100 after that

BTW, does anybody know anything about Russian music charts? When WDKY was released it was like #15 on a Russian chart but then the whole Russian chart disappeared from WDKY's wikipedia page. I know it's wikipedia but still. I was like :wow: when I saw it months ago and I was really interested how it would continue climbing.

No, we learned that RCA was sending the single to radio station this morning but still going for official adds on June 4. I'm sure a lot of stations will jump on today/this week though coming off the performance and success of Stronger.

The labels send the song out to radio stations so it's available to be played whenever they want but they set a desired adds date so the song can have a bigger impact at one time. Then they can boast "most added song" and what not... but it also helps the sales. If it's premiered to a bunch of places all at once it has a better shot of selling more in that week and helping it's chart position. I think they send it to stations a few weeks in advance because stations have music meetings and run tests to decide which songs they want to add and which they won't. So it gives them time to prep.. though with big artists usually they'll jump on board faster. We'll see a bunch of adds this week and next but probably the most will come on the week of June 4.

Hopefully RCA did send the song out like they were supposed to. There's no adds yet but Katy's Wide Awake has 2 adds already from big stations (after that horrid performance) and Nelly Furtado has 1. Nothing yet for Kelly. I wonder what Katy's adds date is ?

I can't at Katy getting the biggest boost after such a performance last night.
