Yes, but only 2 songs.

Yeah, I don't really know how I feel about Karmin just yet. I haven't heard enough music to judge. But I will admit that I did love Ke$ha when she first came out, and Karmin isn't doing a damn thing for me.

Cool rate idea! I love about a third of the artists and I can't wait to get into some new ones.

I had/have no interest in Fun. The song wasn't even all that great, to be honest.

Oh, well those aren't my favorite, but I think they have the best chance for #1
And I liked Fun.'s first album, second not so much. WAY is a solid pop song but lacks the inventiveness of Janelle's other tracks.

Those are good, but her best non singles are Your Lips Are Red and Northern Lights.

Yess for tUnE-yArDs being included! You should add "Gangsta" and "My Country"... "Gangsta" definitely was a single, not as sure about "My Country", you might need to look it up, but she did make a video for it.
Either way, this is going to be good

I hope that "Rill Rill", "Bizness", "Go Outside", "Norway", "Video Games", and "Our Deal" all do well in this rate! Although I'm not expecting many to be here for Merrill's music as it does take a couple of listens to really start to appreciate.

I felt the same. Her second album is much more accessible, but it still takes a couple of listens to get all the melodies in your head, because at first it is such a jarring and unexpected sound. But damn can that girl sing. w h o k i l l was my favorite album of 2011.

I think I'd put w h o k i l l in my top 10. I actually would put Strange Mercy at my #1... well a tie with Biophilia. So I am giving St. Vincent the most 10s in the rate.
My favorite songs on whokill weren't singles though.

Check out "Killa" if you want to hear her best song.

"Powa" is one of the best songs of 2011. Have you heard that one yet? I really wish she released it as a single, just so I could have gotten a video/some live promo. And I agree with madonnas that some of her best songs weren't released as singles. "You Yes You", "Killa", "Es-so", "Doorstep"

Oh wait, Sleigh Bells is in this too? I love them
tUnE-yArDs are good too, or at least their second album is; it just loses a lot of its momentum halfway through and never really picks it back up. Bizness is the **** though.

Oh god, other people got mad at me for being so strict in other rates, but it's hard for me to give anything in this under a 8

The only songs I've heard by her are the ones in this list, BUT I'll definitely give them all a second listen and check out some of her other stuff. I love weird **** like that.
