If her team's smart, they can make this era last for 2 years easily

I see your point...nothing can be more atrocious then sex in the lounge and automatic. I'm personally offended at how basic and paint by numbers they are.
Well, her team isn't smart. This era would have gone different had she capitalized on the ellen thing and either released Hov lane as the first single or the chris brown song (the song is already peaking because the hype c breezy had last year has died down and he has like 6 songs on the radio...overload. Just like Rihanna right now.
They should have never let her do a video (which I think is genius-the message) or release Stupid Hoe first. That was one too many jabs at that other chick and it was like a winner who won long ago but was STILL bragging about it.
Love Nicki but this will be a lesson learned for her and her team.
She should have released one of the songs I mentioned to urban in January. Starships did seem a little early with a late Feb release but it served its purpose so I won't hate.
I do think that they will have to milk all of the singles for this year up until Summer of 13'
Then they will have to take the lessons learned from this era and make sure she releases her 3rd album in November 2013.
It would be dumb for her to do a double album then. She should have done it now since she has gone on record to say that she only makes money off of 12 tracks. Should have just done 12/12 double disc.
If her pop singles blow up this era then I think the 3rd album will be 75% of pop. If they do "ok" then she will do majority hip hop...even more than PF which was a combination.
So sad to see an era not go as well because of poor strategy and allowing the artist to do whatever the hell she wants.
A lesson in the industry...don't rely too much on the success of a FIRST album. secure at least 2/3 albums so that the fanbase is established and then if you go left it won't be too drastic...people will crave a change by then anyway.
