I agree...I like Power and Control, but such a bad choice for a single...Also a really random choice. It came completely out of left field. Lies or Starring Role would've been way more expected and also do better.

Like, why power and Control? Living Dead would also do better. Power and Control is so repetitive and hardly has verses... It also doesn't have a radio friendly sound at all.

They both are, but at least Living Dead has verses and a pre-chorus, even if the chorus is super repetitive. Power and Control drags on a bit more for me.

and like Misty said, it has a more commercial and friendly sound. Power and Control sounds so heavy and dark..

Heavy and dark? Living Dead is such a dark song altogether. It got a bit "lighter" in the finalized version, but it's still dark. Almost disco. Honestly, I don't think any song on EH would do very well, despite how much I love everything. Power & Control still has verses. It's a club-ready anthem. Her vocals >>>

Because I can. Vin is dead. I shall take his spot as the annoying-signing, but not as shady, person.

And Living Dead isn't that commercial. Neither is Lies. The more "popstep" (Pop song with that randomass dubstep breakdown) thing is popular, but raw-ish dubstep (Honestly, Lies is more dubstep than any of the commercial songs that are popular now) is not. Power & Control is a more clubby single.
