They're kinda different sonically, but the "I'm making this song to have a super-mainstream hit" aspect is quite evident.

That aspect is evident in pretty much anything Maroon 5 has released since 2007.

Carrie is doing great. Good Girl should be like #15 combined. And JLo will be #12 soon once B.o.B. falls. With the performance next week, Top 10 is guaranteed.
