I do agree though, there are hints that the scene IS changing and moving away from dance. It's just that it's too early to tell now whether this is a temporary fad or a longer-term substantial shift in pop music. I HOPE it is, tbh, cause there are so many songs on Stronger that would then SMASH. The War is Over being a main one.... And LMD will still smash to gtfo haters

The rest of the Top 10 has to be filled with Something LOL. No artist has really taken the risk yet to be eligible to go Top 10...Kelly could play a big role in the potential music shift is my point

I understand that it is really risky though.

Kelly doesn't have the star power to release whatever risky song you want her to release without it having a greater potential to flop than it has to smash.

I still think Honestly is a little too melodramatic for radio. Even if radio is shifting, I don't think it is shifting in that direction. And as different as WAY and STIUTK are, they still have pretty catchy and memorable hooks, which Honestly doesn't really have.

I think that in trying to keep with the Stronger theme, a lot of songs that showed vulnerability got scrapped. It's a shame, because those are usually her best. I Wish I Could Be Lonely Instead had better see a release eventually!

Also, if the lyrics were tweaked just slightly, it'd be a great song about a dead lover. It'd be even more heartfelt than it is now

Omg, I get teary eyed just from the lyrics now, but if that were the case. My emotions....

I guess I can see it not fitting the theme for Stronger, but maybe hope for the next album or Already Famous(are they still doing that does anyone know? )
