yasss tell'em kworb, these gorls cant seem to understand such simple concept.
I think it would have benefited if they hadn't released all the behind-the-scenes videos or maybe just some of them. In the case where the hype is greater than the outcome, it really can hurt the final product. For example, the end sequence with the repeated bodies (though a bit tired by now in music videos) had more wow factor for me because I had seen clips of the other scenes and expected it to be a lot better. If it met your expectations, you are either easily entertained, or had low expectations.
Also unrelated and I haven't read all these pages so it may have been brought up already, but the video reminded me of Touch by Amerie

I would've liked a bit more to happen. I thought they spent too long in her Diana Ross wig scene.
Overall, a great music video. It slightly missed my expectations but it was still very good. For her first "dancing" music video it was pretty good there was some stiffness in areas but she did very well. I think if Rihanna even spent half the amount of effort Gaga puts into her dancing; Rihanna could be an amazing dancer. Rihanna has good swag much better than most of the pop girls if she just invested more time and a better choreographer she could definetly slay effortlessly.
It's sad great visuals, presentation and cinematography aren't appreciated as much anymore by the YouTube and iPhone generation. A video like this is not meant for a small LQ screen. Get off your little phones and notebooks and find a real screen and be slayed.
