This is the first show, she didn't do speeches for a reason. She was probably just focusing mainly on the songs to see if everything goes smoothly. If something went wrong she can fix it before the next show. She will eventually start talking up a storm again.

Or she heard what a lot of people said and shortened it. She did her speeches, they just weren't super long.

I LOVE the speeches, I really do.
I feel like it keeps the pace of the show very smooth, with out them the show will be crashing and burning on too much energy. I don't want the songs to blend with one another, speeches provide entertainment and good "filleR" moments. Much like in films, filler is needed.
