I can still identify that they are her vocals. With the more listens, the more "Cheryl" it becomes. The vocals are just layered within the production. This is just part of the way Calvin crafts his music. There is a lot of emphasis placed on sound and instrumentation where it becomes just as important as the voice.

I hope they don’t push forward the release. Britney’s label pushed forward the release of ‘Hold It Against Me’ last year. The song was a guaranteed #1 in the UK (it received raves from British critics and everyone loved it for using dubstep,) but they released it over a month before the video. The song ended up selling only 270k and peaking at #6.

Cheryl will probably promote, but it could still ruin her chances of getting the top spot, since the first week is her best shot.
