Scab and Plaster is definitely not a TFJ reject, but it was written so closely after TFJ (we first saw lyrics of it June/July 2010) that most people/she considered it to be too closely related to TFJ than EH for it to be on the album. I think it's a very good bridge between the two actually. But now that I think about it, it probably would have been better on TFJ.

Maybe that was the reason why most people thought S+P was a TFJ reject. I remember that song leaking right after the TFJ era. Most people probably assumed it was from TFJ.

While EH Marina hasn't really lost these qualities, they kinda get drowned out amongst her new "prim and proper" persona. Seeing the picture in that 'Daddy Was a Sailor' video reminds me of how Marina wouldn't really wear that kind of thing now, I don't think.

I would not want Sept 2010 - Feb 2011 TFJ Marina back because she was so bitter at pop + seemed to be going through a crisis, which I get, but it's sad. Even through TFJ she seemed pretty unhappy about things and still had room to mature, but she was able to hide it well until Shampain only peaked at 145 or something.
Idk I'm just desperate for her to release all the photos from this era, videos for every single song that may tell some sort of story, then go back to sexy black hair.
The songs I have under unreleased (ie the ones that I've listened to + liked): The Archetypes, Horror Pop, Jealousy, Like the Other Girls (okay I don't like this one, but I feel like I might as well keep it), Miss Y, The Other Foot, ****, and Scab and Plaster.
I have all the covers under a "Covers" album with the picture being Marina's face with the Radioactive blonde wig. The only cover that I need is What You Waiting For because I can't find a good studio quality of it.

After this era she'll definitely go back to black. The blonde hair fits the concept, and I don't think she's doing the same concept next album.
Oh and her hair IS black. A fan who met her posted a photo back in January and Marina's hair were cut short and brown. She probably wears a wig.
Probably, or I think at this point she wears extensions? Or just dyed her hair but not the roots... idk and don't really care either hahaha.
Literally though what I don't get is: by the time November 2011 came around and she did that one London show, I think her natural hair was exactly how she wanted it! It was long, elegant, silver (more silver than gray) and she said she wanted that. Then suddenly she just started wearing that wig... and then the pic with her black hair came about. So weird...

I keep hearing about a supposed twitter meltdown Marina had, but I've never seen it. I suppose that was after Shampain didn't do too well.
