The song with Taylor better not be a single (if it's a duet). If it's released as the second single, it could hurt Eyes Open and if it's the third (or later) single, it could hurt Taylor's own singles. Of course, this is only if the song features Taylor; if it's a cowrite, it doesn't really matter.
None of Taylor's fans seem to want them collaborating; I have no idea how the Beliebers feel about it though. I'll assume that they're excited for it because most Beliebers are part of Taylor's demographic while most of Taylor's fans are not part of Bieber's demographic.
