like some others said, this isn't disppointing AT ALL, the only European Country that knows Nicki Minaj THAT WELL is the UK so far, once Nicki does more promo she will start smashing internationally, watch "Starships" take off in summer in a lot of countrys..
People need to realize that album sales in general are declining. There were only a hand full of records released last year that sold upwards of 2-3 million copies.
The U.S. is still her main market. If her U.S. sales decline too much (and she's not off to a great start so far vs. PF), her label will NOT be happy about it. People on here are to preoccupied with being "local." It's about the total, not where the sales are allocated.
I'm pretty certain Cash Money are going to be rather pleased the album is selling globally, even at the cost of some immediate US sales. They can always run a new promo campaign and get those missing sales, so its not a big deal.
A big deal is actually the fact Nicki Minaj has a Japanese #1 album, and album tracks from it are selling hundreds of thousands as well.
A big deal is Nicki Minaj is the hottest thing in the UK, with a tour that sold out in 3 minutes.
A big deal is Nicki Minaj is the face of Pepsi, Nokia Lumia and Adidas.
Young Money knows that will all lead to major sales and promo for this album... And anticipation and hype for the next one.
