One of my friends posted this on Facebook the night of the Grammys.
A lot of the people who commented (who obviously weren't watching the show) responded "I'm sick of Gaga doing this stupid ****." Well...
Again, the only common thread is that they both are attention seeking with their wardrobes. That could've been Beyonce under that E.T. face, and they'd think it was Gaga, only because Gaga was the first in a long time to bring crazy wardrobes back to the forefront of pop culture not because they have similar styles.
Ma'am you haven't been a raper for a while now. You're a pop star. Other publications have even picked up on it. Let's not play stupid. And your crazy lyrics make entirely no sense. 9 times out 10 you sound like you have schizophrenia as well as down syndrome.

Media outlets like Rolling stone, and Pitchfork see her bringing her rap world and pop world together. So is there even really merit to what you're saying when by listening to her album alone would tell you that she still very much raps?
Honestly, this whole Gaga/Nicki thing seems like it's the Monsters' way to feel better after dealing with the Madonna/Gaga comparisons for so long.
It's childish and it's pathetic.

Nicki's music sounds absolutely nothing like music Gaga puts out. Having the same producer is irrelevant when the producer is making different kinds of music both artists. Starships/Pound The Alarm/Whip It sound nothing like any Gaga songs I know, so I don't know what you're hearing. Is Gaga the only person who is allowed to dress unconventionally? Sure you can find looks between the two that are similar, but we can and we DO find that between many artists; that's just the way it's going to be. But Nicki clearly does her own thing style-wise. A look at her candids would tell you that. To insinuate that Nicki goes through Gagas looks and tries to emulate her favorites is just simple-minded and ignorant, and you know it.

call me delusional or whatever you want, but as a big fan of both artists, (other then the Grammy's) I honestly can't see the comparison between the two.
