I agree, I don't think there is one iconic video of 2011, but the closest imo, were WFL and Countdown. Both which also placed high on NME and Slants top videos of 2011 (As did BTW). I personally really like WFL because it was true to the song, yet creative, and fast paced. The cinematography was great too, and i'm not even a Rihanna stan
I like the BTW video too, for different reasons.
I want something fresh and bright for next era's first video
