Well dam I guess "the hood" bought a lot of those Pink Friday albums and pulled out for this go round. This goes to show you how important it is to know who the majority of your fan base is. I can't see any other reason for the underwhelming sales other than her loosing a chunk of her rap fan base who everyone on here claims doesn't buy albums; Well I guess the pop fans don't buy albums that much either.

I think if Dr. Luke would have produced the pop side completely, she wouldn't be in this mess. Masquerade and Va Va Voom are the only songs that cater to the pop appeal of the original Pink Friday.

Between the most-watched Superbowl ever, the stunt she pulled at the most-watched Grammys since 1984, American Idol and all the other promo she's done (not to mention huge radio support) she's had so much exposure these last few months.

It really speaks to the importance of positive exposure.
