Listening to Gun Shot today made me think of the days when Nicki was still on Usher features or when she released Massive Attack, of the days when she was still prepping Pink Friday and trying to get her name out there, of the days when her songs cost 99 cents on iTunes instead of $1.29, of the days when she got her first top 20 hit, of the day Pink Friday was released, etc. She's come so far in so little time.

I remember when my friend and I freaked out that a radio station played RTM... those were the days hahaha. and when it was such a big deal that she performed at the VMA PRE-SHOW, now she would never have to settle for the pre-show hahaha. I didn't know her when she was in her mixtape days, but I still consider myself kind of an older fan since I was here for her the minute I heard her in BedRock. I'm so glad she's got the success she deserves with how hard she works. And the best is yet to come!
