theres no excuse for a song to not be popular specially from Beyonce. Ok so Candy Shop is tad bit gangsterer than Deja Vu why was it embrace by Pop so much?

bottom line... her effort this time is just mediocre... catchy at its best!

^ yeah but she said herself that some records on the album are very pop but she didnt choose them as th 2 first singles , she xhosed the songs taht reflects the most her feelings and taht could show another face of beyonce
Im not the biggest deja vu fan but i have the feelin that a lot of awards academy will love it cuz this song is probably not radio friendly or enough catchy or whateva but it has an artistic feeling atleast to me !!!

Cuz this was the time when pop played urban music and by teh way 50 cent is a pop artist and most of his songs have pop chorus and are pop written all over !!!

I Did It Again" to "I'm A Slave 4 U", for example. So, stop being obsessive about Beyoncé and don't come all nervous on me or other members because YES, she's flopping HARD with Déjà Vu (for her stats) and Ring The Alarm ISN'T that good. Respect our opinion, at least.

Considering, based soley on the 12 seconds available as a ringtone from Verizon, this song has somehow eclipsed Deja Vu as her worst song ever.

And should suffer a fate far worse than death. It should debut at #99 for a week and then vanish.

And as for Deja Crappy-view, from what I can tell it wasn't embraced by pop but only got to #4 or whatever it's new peak is due to iTunes. Cuz Bey fans could not accept that the Sex Bot released **** for a song done in what could have been 3 minutes. Hell, Ashlee Simpson did more work on her crappy songs.
