And they succeeded. Every time I see you post, you're posting about Gaga or Monsters.

Just because she's labeled as the Queen of Pop doesn't mean she deserves a high score for a pretty mediocre(as a whole) album.
The only three ACTUALLY solid modern/innovative songs would be:
Girl Gone Wild, Gang bang and I'm Addicted.
What even.......
Girl Gone Wild is not even remotely addicted.
What about making 60s style electropop? All the 60s like songs are much more inventive than the three you named (save Gang Bang).
I don't think it's such a terrible argument. My English teacher, a Madonna fan, sizes up her post-2000 work similarly.
Madonna is at her best when she's just doing her own thing nowadays, I think. That's what she did with many songs during the 2000s. See Don't Tell Me, one of my all-time favorite Madonna songs...
There were some missteps along the way but she experimented, she had fun, she did at least two very good albums and some songs that may not be as iconic as the 80s ones, but still are gems.
Not your everyday popstar can deliver songs like this for example:
MDNA might not be really good, but throwing this argument out there without looking at the big picture is pretty inaccurate in my opinion.
