Kelly is the winner. In the studio she sounds great, live she sounds perfect. Best vocalist.
Xtina oversings and have no control of her voice.
Adele is just bland when she sings live. The Grammy performance... she just stands and looks like she doesn't really care what's going on. She one of the most overrated performers.
Adele, is not that great vocally. She has a nice tone, she uses it wisely. But nothing really special. There are tons of girls in TVshows that can actually sing way better than Adele.
Kelly, she was clearly at her prime (vocally) in AI/Thankful days. She was a beast. Now she's far from where she was. She has declined a lot. She sounds tired, she has no longer those bright moment with high notes.
Xtina, her prime vocally? I'd say BTB days. Her voice's got some damage due to her lack of technique. Her tone remains the best tho. Hmm, she's a special case, cause she has a better instrument than the other two but she does not use it wisely.
Christina. Lack of vocal technique or not, she would sing both Adele and Kelly into the ground. Christina is superior in executing the belts better and singing in the falsetto/whistle range, which the other two seem to have problems with.

But the lies.
Kelly is currently in her vocal prime right now, and in everything post-My December. Before that, and especially during the Breakaway days, she took such poor care of her voice. She never rested, and her performances suffered.
Not only has her voice matured greatly since then, but she never gives a bad performance. She never strains. She never misses a note. She can do things today with her voice that she couldn't even ATTEMPT during her AI days. Plus, during that time her lower register was way under developed.

Kelly had a better upper chest register (Belts) than Xtina. Now, both of them have declined. They are more on the same level talking about belts but Xtina has always had low register, head voice and whistle register on her side. Adele, well she doesn't match these two vocally.

Do you know something about vocals?
Her belts are not what they used to be, not even close. "She never strains?" OMG, have you heard her recently? All of her belts have some sort of strain even if it's not really high. What kind of things? Cause, she can't belt better, maybe the only thing I'd give to you is her low register other than that just, NO.

huh? you dont know anything about kelly and xtina's vocals, xtina has taken lessons because her vocals was damaged because of poor techniques. kelly never get to that point.
xtina's belt is up to d5 only and she keeps missing notes on her songs, while kelly belts effortlessly up to g5.
kelly refused to whistle btw because she dont want to be compared to mariah she did it once on idol to show some range and she didnt do that again.
kelly's voice >>>> xtina's voice
in technique department even beyonce got ahead of her despite the fact bey wasnt a strong vocalist when compared to xtina during 2000's but she trained and used her voice PROPERLY and not SHOUTING which kelly is doing too. beyonce and kelly are trained, xtina on the other hand, oh well ask seth riggs i thinks she's doing her old bad habits in singing.

Kelly vocals are gargantuan HUGE and High! It's like she doesn't need a microphone anymore. And she somehow hums like a female version of Brian McKnight or something.
Xtina's voice is MASSIVE, too. And I love it. But like when she sang a part of Since U Been Gone on The Voice, she somehow lowered the key compared to Clarkson's live performances of the song.
I love Adele's voice, too... but her voice has a lower register compared to the two. Also, what I like about her voice is that she has this Celtic accent or something which is pretty rare these days.
That was beautiful. Do not missunderstood me as a hater cause I'm not. I do actually like her a lot, I wouldn't call me a fan tho. But listen carefully to that, she's straining in everything she belted out. She sounded amazing while she stayed in her middle voice. Now listen to this and compare it to this. Of course she still got it but she's far from her vocal peak. Facts are facts.
Such a flaw free rendition. Makes me laugh when people discredit her vocal prowess. To say Adele is on par vocally is to say that Batman is as invincible as Superman. Both Superheros, but one is clearly stronger.

I'll agree with you there when you say her belts aren't as effortless as they used to be. The energy may not be where it used to be, but bitch has aged 10 years so obviously her vocal chords have slightly weakened but that's not to say that her belts have gotten weaker. Her voice has evolved very gracefully with the perfect amount of raspiness that basically adds soul to whatever she's singing. Too early to tell with Adele (even though she's already had to have vocal surgery) but between Kelly and Christina, I think Kelly's voice has/will age better.
