If you look at Metascores/ year-end lists, they're close. It's not like any of those other girls, with the possible exception of Beyoncé, is highly acclaimed. Nicki had the 3rd most critically acclaimed song of 2011, Rihanna has one of the most critically acclaimed songs of the decade and of all time. Rihanna's one of the few artists that gets regular coverage from indie/underground sources. Nicki is an incredibly gifted rapper and to my knowledge has written every single one of her verses; you are stupid if you believe someone like Britney is a more talented songwriter than Nicki is a rapper, which includes songwriting.
