Can some Britney stan explain to me why she didn't have many #1s and Top 10s during the BOMT era - ITZ era? It still boggles my mind why she lacks Top 10 hits. I heard it was about the radio.
Jive never released physical releases of her singles so she had no sales points to chart on the Hot 100. It would be the equivilent of Britney not having iTunes sales to aid her singles on the charts today, she probably wouldn't be able to get into the top 20 on Billboard with only radio play helping her to chart. Jive released physical singles for Baby One More Time, From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart and Stronger but never released physical releases for her more successful singles such as Oops! and Crazy.

Britney Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline said he wants their two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James, to get jobs flipping burgers at McDonald's to stop them from becoming spoiled Hollywood brats.
The former backup dancer said he would put his sons, now aged five and six, to work once they turned 16 to teach them about normal life.
"I'll have them working at Micky D's," Federline said. "That's how we had to do it! I worked at a car wash, I worked at a pizza place. Things like that made me."
He added, "I can be in this business now, and I'm still the same person I am back then because I know what I want out of life and how to treat people."
Speaking in Melbourne on Saturday as he filmed for the GO! reality show "Excess Baggage," K-Fed added that giving his two young sons a normal life was high on his priority list to stop them from going off the rails in the future.
"Preston and Jayden have missed out on so much of that with me and their mother being so busy all the time," he said. "Now we've both agreed -- this is it, they are going to be at school and learn...what it's like to be part of society as a normal kid."
Federline said he planned to bring his children and girlfriend, Victoria Prince, back to Australia in July and hoped to one day retire in the country.
He's so ****ing disgusting and I wish Britney never met that bum. And what business is he in? he's an unemployed grown man with several kids who's been living off of Britney's money for years. He's not even a role model for his own kids, "God" forbid they turn out like him. MESS.
And Brit. wouldn't let her kids work at McDonalds. Starbucks, yeah, so mama Spears can cash in on that employee discount.
He's just mad, because he can never do it like Britney. He will stay a broke bitch.
